Dr. Stephen F. Emery comes to the Clinic from Austin, Texas. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1980. Dr. Emery completed his internship and residency via the United States Army at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He served in Stuttgart, Germany, as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Emery completed a spinal fellowship at the Alamo Bone and Joint Clinic with Dr. James W. Simmons and continues to specialize in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of spinal conditions resulting from disease, deformity, or injury. Dr. Emery is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
