We also have clinics in Powell, Lovell, Greybull-Basin, Thermopolis, and Worland. Hours at other clinics will vary according to clinic and physicians’ schedules. The office is closed Saturdays, Sundays, and all major holidays. When changes in our schedule become necessary due to emergency, we will make every effort to call and reschedule your appointment. We hope you understand these unavoidable situations and also provide us with as much time as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment. Please stop at the front desk prior to leaving our building to make a return appointment when necessary. When discharged from the hospital, please call the office to make a return appointment.EmergenciesWhen your needs require emergency or after-hours attention, please call the West Park Hospital operator at 307-527-7501, and the doctor on call will be paged. He will return your call as soon as possible. In the event of an emergency and you cannot reach the doctor on call, please report to the emergency room at your nearest hospital.RegistrationNew patients are requested to check in at the registration desk where they will be asked to fill out an information form. It is also asked that you check in each time you visit the office so that we will know you are here, and you can be called for your appointment as quickly as possible.Telephone PoliciesFor the doctor to leave the patient being treated to answer every telephone call would obviously be unfair to the patient. Our office staff has been trained to answer most questions. However, if it is necessary for you to leave a message, we will either return your call as soon as possible or convey to the physician any medical problem you may be having.PrescriptionsIn order that your chart can be reviewed, please call only during office hours for a prescription refill. Please try not to call for a prescription refill at night or during weekends when access to your medical records is not available.New PatientsNew patients who have been previously treated by other physicians concerning the present problem should provide their previous medical records and x-rays to our office before their appointment date. If we do not have the previous records and/or x-rays, we will be unable to perform as complete an evaluation as possible.AuthorizationInformation which you give your physician in the course of treatment is always treated in the strictest confidence and cannot be released without written permission. It will be necessary for you to sign an authorization before we can divulge any information to a third party. |
